iPhone Development
Around Tuesday, I purchased a USB keyboard to use with my “MacBook”. The purchase allowed me to code with ease because { } [ and ] were now normal keys. Right away I began working on iPhone dev. With some assistance from idevgames.com/forum, I was up and running. My first “app” was one where [...]

Other than the programmer of the multiplayer game Your World, I am the only one who knows that I am the programmer of the C++ server. I started porting the old server to C++ a few months ago, but I encountered some roadblocks. The first of these roadblocks was school. Soon after I got the [...]

I just realized what would be the easiest thing to do. I’m going to integrate my site with wordpress, not the other way around. That way, when you go to http://www.wademcgillis.com, my blog will show up, only it will look like my site. I’ll probably do this after December 23rd, but sooner might be possible. [...]

Due in less than two weeks are two 7+ page essays for Ancient Archaeology and English 102. Each requires over 5 sources. They are going to be tough. Now, that doesn’t really leave me any time to do much else, because I work over 20 hours a week. I’ve got a lot of homework to [...]

I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve had college and homework, and I’ve had to go to work a lot also. I’ve got a minimum 1250 word sequel to “The Price of Eggs in China” due in three days, and a presentation on Cleopatra due that day also. The fourth slide of the presentation is [...]

Programs today are RAM and clock cycle hogs.
Right now, as I’m typing this post, I’m on a really bad computer. 700Mhz processor, 128 MB RAM, and Windows XP SP0. I’m typing this in Firefox, and it’s going really slow. My other browser choices are IE6 and Chrome. Chrome may be the “faster browser”, but it [...]

As any of you visitors may have noticed, there aren’t any visitors to my website. My website is stagnant. Nobody visits, and there have been no new games for a while. What should I do? What would attract more visitors? Should I add cross platform games?
Things I could do:
- Cross Platform binaries
- Flash games
- More [...]

Ok, so yesterday I was fooling around with drawing and I made that. It is a strip of 4 64×64 images. What I’d like to know is if this should be the main character in a multiplayer platform game I’m making, or if it should be a Non-Playable Character (NPC). Like Goombas in the Mario [...]

Forty years ago tomorrow is the day that man first stepped on the moon. All over the news and internet there has increasingly been space related coverage. STS-127 launched recently and is installing the Kibo lab, the Constellation program is starting, Walter Cronkite died, and there’s the Apollo 11 anniversary also.
Oh… “Uncle” Walter Cronkite. He [...]
